B-Bomb Pattern

Bob-Bomb is a pattern created by sis, Rabbie, aka themagpiesnest, whose knitted (and sewn, and baked) goodies can be found here, or her blog over here. She asked me to host the pattern, and I couldn’t resist having such a cutie on my site!

Bob Bomb:
Requires: 4mm dpns, white, yellow, grey and black DK wool and stuffingWork in stockinette throughout:
Fuse:
Using DPN’s and white; CO 3 sts, icord for 2 inches
Next round: inc twice (5 sts)

Box:

Change to grey and inc in every st (10 sts)
Next round: k2, inc 1 across round (15sts)
Next round: k3, inc 1 across round (20 sts)
Work 3 roundsBody (stuff as you go along):
Change to black and work 1 round
Next round: k4, inc 1 across round (25 sts) and work 1 round
Next round: k5, inc 1 across round (30 sts) and work 1 round
Continue in this manner until: k9, inc 1 across round (50 sts)
Work 6 rounds
Next round: k8, k2tog across round and work 1 round
Next round: k7, k2tog across round and work 1 round
Continue in this manner until 10sts remain
Next round: k2tog across row, cut yarn and thread through remaining stsKey:
Using DPN’s and yellow, icord 6 sts for 3cm
split icord into 2 (3 sts on each side) and continue each for a further 7cm
Cut yarn
Finishing, attach ends of thinner icords to the main icord to form a key shape, sew in place.Feet:
With yellow:
CO25 sts, work 2 rows
next row: k11, inc 1, k1, inc 1, k to end
next row: inc each side of next row
next row: K
next row: k12, inc 1, k3, inc 1, k to end
next row: inc each side of next row
next row: K
next row: k13, inc 1, k5, inc 1, k to end
next row: inc each side of next row
next row: K
Next row: k20, k2tog, sl 1, (bring yarn forward) turn
*sl 1, work 6 sts, K(P)2tog, sl, byf*
Repeat ** until 23 sts remain. Finish row and loosely cast off.

Eyes:
With white, CO 3 sts
Work 1 row
Next row: inc both sides
Work 5 rows
Next row: dec both sides
Work 1 row.
Next row: K3tog
Finishing, position onto body and sew in place using photo as a guide
