This pattern is designed to be small, quick and relatively simple pattern that can be whipped up with small oddments of leftover stash yarn in a short space of time. I was averaging 25 minutes from cast on to weaving in ends! Ideal for last minute gifts.
-Small amounts of cream Aran or DK yarn held double
-Small amounts of beer coloured Aran or DK yarn held double
-Small amounts of light grey Aran or DK yarn held double
-Tapestry/yarn needle for sewing in loose ends
St(s) = Stitch(es)
CO = Cast on
K = knit row (all rows are K to produce garter stitch)
Inc = Increase by your preferred method (I prefer Kfb for this pattern)
BO = Bind off
Begin by casting on in grey, to crate the bottom of the glass, change to beer coloured yarn and work three sets of increases as instructed below. The coaster is finished by changing to cream and knitting the ‘head’ of the beer which you also cast off with.
